Living in California for more than 37 years, I have resided in the Coachella Valley for the last 25 years. Being born in the Bronx and raised in New York provided me an extensive world view and an appreciation of diversity. I graduated at the top of my class in high school and among many honors was awarded a United States Congressional Medal of Merit. While attending Dartmouth College on a scholarship, I graduated with an honors degree in Government and International Relations. Some of my memorable experiences along the way include the chance to serve at the Honolulu Community Action Program in Hawaii, the Republican National Senatorial Committee in Washington D.C., and in the United Nations at the United Nations World Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. My post graduate studies brought me back to New York to New York University where I studied film, television and media.
In applying my energy and skills to private enterprise over the years, I currently have a media company in Riverside County. As a member of the business community I have gained valuable experience in the private sector and understand the obstacles and challenges that are being faced by companies and individuals every day. Throughout the journey Kathleen and I have been involved in many local and regional organizations and charities that help and support our Community on a daily basis.
By virtue of my formal education which was very specifically concerned with all aspects of government, and from life experiences that came along the way, I am uniquely equipped with a practical and common sense understanding of what is needed for our government to propel us ahead to a future that will be constructive and prosperous for all of us. It is crucial for a successful government of the people, by the people and for the people – like ours – to function on all cylinders to make that happen. That is what we can achieve together.
